She is the President of the Missouri Pain Initiative and a member of the American Pain Society & other related associations. She is the author of a book called Beyond Chronic Pain. The first 50 registrants will receive a free copy of her book.

Fibromyalgia Awareness Day is designed to increase awareness and understanding of fibromyalgia - a chronic pain disorder that affects 3 - 5 percent of the world population.
This year's campaign, "Make Fibromyalgia Visible," is aimed at bringing hope to this often isolated and misunderstood patient population through improved public knowledge of this chronic pain disorder.
